Christian is a member of Detroit Working Writers, founded in 1900 by 13 professional women journalists and literary writers as the Detroit Press Club. It has a long and prestigious history in fostering excellence in writing.

He is also a member of Michigan Sisters in Crime, where he attends the monthly critique group, working on his latest novel, the next Ken Knoll mystery “Blood on the Balustrade.”
