About Christian Belz

ARCHITECT/WRITER Christian Belz has been a practicing architect in Metro Detroit for 29 years. He is a member of Detroit Working Writers. He won the Grand Prize in Aquarius Press’s 2011 Bright Harvest Prize for short story. His fiction has appeared in Writers’ Journal, The Story Teller Magazine, and Wicked East Press’s anthology: Short Sips, Coffee House Flash Fiction Collection 2. His poetry has been published in WestWard Quarterly and Yes, Poetry. He is a four-time semi-finalist in Summer Literary Seminars’ annual competition.

The second Ken Knoll architectural mystery, Civic Center Corpse, has been released by Cozy Cat Press. Cannoli is back and puts on his sleuthing hat when a millionaire donor to the city’s auditorium project is crushed and killed when the sign bearing his name tumbles from the building Ken designed. After he shows that foul play was involved, the dead man’s widow implores Ken to find the murderer.
